He began his protective services career in the United States Marine Corps, where he served as a machine gunner and team leader in an infantry unit, gaining extensive experience in leadership, armed and unarmed combatives, trauma-related medical care, and situational awareness. After concluding his service, he transitioned into the private security sector, advancing quickly from venue security to high-level corporate and executive protection. His time with SpaceX sharpened his skills in high-risk corporate environments, security program management, and fast-paced, rapidly evolving security landscapes, preparing him for the global demands of his current role.

Today, Austin oversees security operations for private sector clientele and family offices, managing international protective details ranging from discreet celebrity tours to complex, multi- layered events. He is recognized by colleagues and clients for his concierge-style approach, delivering uncompromising safety and a seamless, high-touch service experience. Austin’s expertise spans executive protection, security consulting, combat arts, firearms and weapons training, and operational strategy. He is certified in Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC/TECC), advanced CPR/AED and first aid, and holds multiple instructor certifications. He has also been designated a Tier-1 close protection agent by J Blair Group. Beyond his professional certifications, Austin is deeply committed to personal fitness, combative arts (including Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai), and continuous skill development, ensuring he maintains the physical and mental edge required in his field.

Outside of security, Austin has proven himself in luxury real estate operations, playing key roles in multiple high-profile sales with Sotheby’s Concierge Auctions, including a record-breaking $141 million Bel-Air estate transaction. This experience, coupled with his leadership in operations management, strategic planning, and business development, has positioned him as a uniquely versatile executive.
